The Initiative of Manufacturers of Sustainable Packaging Technology

The IMPackT initiative was founded by EcoVadis in late 2023 in collaboration with the Association of Beverage Machinery Industry (ABMI). The initiative regroups companies from the packaging machinery and packaging technology industry spearheaded by their founding members; CFT, Krones and Gassner. Every member of the initiative is committed to continuously improving the ethical, social and environmental business standards of their suppliers across the industry’s value chain.

IMPackT initiative members engage suppliers in their sustainability rating and improvement journey as a peer group. Participating in this process offers various benefits, such as:

  • Strengthen supplier outreach resulting in an increased coverage of the assessed supply base (higher supplier participation)
  • Expand visibility of the broader Packaging Machinery and Packaging Technology industry’s supply chain sustainability performance allowing more informed decisions

If you have received a sustainability assessment request on behalf of the IMPackT initiative, you are considered as a trading partner for at least one member of this Initiative. Engaging in this process offers various benefits, such as:
