What we do

Numerous environmental, social, and ethical challenges faced by the mobility & vehicle industry surpass the capabilities of individual companies to tackle. Accelerate members address this by engaging their suppliers in a collective endeavor to evaluate and improve sustainability practices, fostering collaboration.

How We Do It

Accelerate members use the EcoVadis sector initiative ratings platform to enroll their suppliers in the EcoVadis assessment process. The results of these assessment processes – the scorecards – are shared in a common pool which all current and future Accelerate members have access to. This pool is a private antitrust safe network on the EcoVadis platform and the commercial link between a rated supplier and the requesting member is kept strictly confidential.

The EcoVadis platform also provides actionable sector and members’ view data tools in order to identify the risks and pain point.

The EcoVadis value proposition is to accelerate members’ programs to drive impact at scale, enhanced by collaboration between industry peers, and underpinned by verified data collected through the assessments.

Accelerate Initiative membership is open to mobility & vehicle companies that are committed to sustainability and fulfill the Accelerate membership requirements. As part of the application process, each applicant must present their case to the Accelerate Steering Committee. There are two application slots per year.
