The Aviation Initiative for Responsible Procurement (AIRPro) is an EcoVadis-powered sector initiative created by a group of commercial aviation companies and their key global procurement organizations. Each AIRPro member is committed to continuously improving the ethical, social and environmental business standards of their suppliers across the industry’s value chain.

AIRPro members engage suppliers in their sustainability rating and improvement journey as a peer group. Participating in this process offers various benefits, such as:

  • Strengthen supplier outreach resulting in an increased coverage of the assessed supply base (higher supplier participation)
  • Expand visibility of the broader airline industry’s supply chain sustainability performance allowing more informed decisions

If you have received a sustainability assessment request on behalf of a AIRPro, you are considered as a trading partner for at least one member of this Initiative. Engaging in this process offers various benefits, such as:

AIRPro membership is open to commercial airline companies that are committed to sustainability and fulfill the AIRPro membership requirements. As part of the application process, each applicant must present their case to the AIRPro Steering Committee.
