AIRPro is coordinated by the EcoVadis Sector Initiative team and a dedicated EcoVadis Program Manager.

Steering Committee

The Steering Committee is AIRPro’s highest decision-making body. It comprises Executive Procurement Leaders’ representatives from each AIRPro member company. Every member assigned a program referent to AIRPro. The members meet monthly or quarterly, depending on the projects in progress.

Members

The Aviation Initiative for Responsible Procurement (AIRPro) currently has five members.

Prospective members shall

  • Fit the industry profile of the members of the Sector Initiative
  • Have a sustainable procurement vision and a first set of associated time-bound goals
  • Sign an EcoVadis Enterprise Agreement with the Sector Initiative membership addendum

Application process

  1. Interview with EcoVadis Sector Initiative Program Manager
  2. Conduct the EcoVadis Sustainable Procurement Maturity Assessment
  3. CPO/CSO Interview with the EcoVadis Sector Initiative Director
  4. CPO/CSO presentation to the Initiative Members
  5. Potential objections from existing members will be vetted by the EcoVadis senior management team and must be evidence based

Ecovadis Sector Initiatives trademark meeting rules

Meetings among some or all members of an EcoVadis Sector Initiative cannot be held under the EcoVadis Sector Initiative ™ if EcoVadis is neither informed nor present at the meeting. Under no circumstances may the actions taken by members at such meetings be associated or linked to the respective EcoVadis Sector Initiative or EcoVadis. Statements, or any other kind of communication, must not be published under the EcoVadis Sector Initiative ™ without EcoVadis’ prior consent.

Become a member

AIRPro membership is open to commercial airline companies that are committed to sustainability and fulfill the AIRPro membership requirements. As part of the application process, each applicant must present their case to the AIRPro Steering Committee.
There are two opportunities per year.
